HCAS receives thousands of stray animals annually and for the last two years, the highest percentage of animals that have left the shelter were through transfer to rescue organizations. Trailing slightly behind rescue pulls are adoptions. HCAS would love to have adoptions once again take the lead in its successful release categories. If you are interested in a new loved one for your home, please come visit the HCAS shelter located at 19450 Oliver Street in Brooksville.  Included with each dog and cat adoption is spay or neuter, vaccination, microchipping, County license and a health exam.

Contact HCAS at (352) 796-5062 for more information on how to adopt your newest family member.
