Residents are invited to attend a Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Spring Hill Branch Library located at 9220 Spring Hill Drive. Rain barrels are $50 each. Attendance is necessary to purchase a rain barrel; however, you may attend without purchasing one. Pre-registration is required. Please make checks payable to HCUD and mail to Hernando County Utilities, 15365 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34613. Write “Rain Barrel Workshop September 15” on the envelope. Checks will be the only form of payment accepted and must be received by September 13. Hernando County Utilities customers who attend the workshop and install a rain barrel at their home will receive a one-time $25 credit on their water bill. Please bring a vehicle that can accommodate a 55-gallon barrel. Attendance at a workshop is mandatory to purchase a rain barrel. All sales final.
