The Zoning Division administers the county's zoning codes, reviews site plans for residential and commercial building and zoning permits, and provides zoning information to the public.

 
Notice: Normal Business Hours Resumed
Effective Monday, July 8th, 2024, the Hernando County Development Services Department will resume normal business hours:
 
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday through Friday
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Lobby Hours:
7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
 
During these hours, our lobby and call center will be open to assist customers. This includes services from the Building, Planning & Zoning, and Code Enforcement divisions.
