The Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) Water Awareness Series offers free monthly classes to educate participants on how to protect Florida’s water resources. Residents are invited to attend “Turf Talk” on November 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. to noon at the HCUD Building located at 15365 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville.

In this class, Pasco County Florida-Friendly™ Landscaping Program Manager Jim Moll explains why lawncare is not as easy as you may think. Participants will learn what lawns in our area need to thrive without using too many ecological or economical resources.
