Residents are invited to attend a Rain Barrel Workshop on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hernando County Utilities Building located at 15365 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. Rain barrels are $50 each. Attendance is necessary to purchase a rain barrel; however, you may attend without purchasing one. Pre-registration is required. Please make checks payable to HCUD and mail to Hernando County Utilities, 15365 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34613. Write “Rain Barrel Workshop March 27” on the envelope. Checks will be the only form of payment accepted and must be received by March 26, 2019. Hernando County Utilities customers who attend the workshop and install a rain barrel at their home will receive a one-time $25 credit on their water bill. Please bring a vehicle that can accommodate a 55-gallon barrel. Attendance at a workshop is mandatory to purchase a rain barrel. All sales final.
