Residents are invited to attend a Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the East Hernando Library located at 6457 Windmere Road in Ridge Manor. Rain barrels are $50 each. Attendance is mandatory to purchase a rain barrel; however, you may attend without purchasing one. Please make checks payable to HCUD and mail to Hernando County Utilities, 15365 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34613. Write “Rain Barrel Workshop April 13” on the envelope. Checks will be the onlyform of payment accepted and must be received by April 12, 2019. Hernando County Utilities customers who attend the workshop and install a rain barrel at their home will receive a one-time $25 credit on their water bill. Please bring a vehicle that can accommodate a 55-gallon barrel. All sales final.
