Hernando County Animal Services (HCAS) is teaming up with several surrounding counties to hold a Mega Pet Adoption Event on May 17 – May 19, 2019 at the Hernando County Fairgrounds located at 6436 Broad Street in Brooksville. Up to 700 cats and dogs from Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Citrus and Hernando counties will be available for adoption with waived adoption fees thanks to sponsorships from Best Friends Animal Society and Pet Resources Foundation, Inc. Event hours will be as follows:
- Friday, May 17, 2019: 12 – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, May 18, 2019: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday, May 19, 2019: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
All available animals will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home with adopters the day of the event. Contact HCAS at (352) 796-5062 for more information.
