December HCUD Water Awareness Series (Brooksville, FL)

The Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) Water Awareness Series offers free monthly classes to educate participants on how to protect Florida’s water resources. Residents are invited to attend “Winter Cold Protection in Your Florida Yard & Cool and Colorful Yards” on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon at the HCUD Building located at 15365 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. Registration is required. Citrus County Extension Director BJ Jarvis will talk about how to keep your Central Florida plants safe during a frost or freeze event and Florida-Friendly Landscaping Coordinator Lilly Browning will demonstrate how to turn your yard into a winter wonderland, Florida style!
