Residents are invited to attend a Rain Barrel Workshop on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hernando County Utilities Department office located at 15365 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. Rain barrels are $50 each. Attendance is mandatory to purchase a rain barrel; however, you may attend without purchasing one. Please make checks payable to HCUD and mail to Hernando County Utilities, 15365 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34613. Write “Rain Barrel Workshop “February 26” on the envelope. Checks will be the only form of payment accepted and must be received by February 25, 2020. Hernando County Utilities customers who attend the workshop and install a rain barrel at their home will receive a one-time $25 credit on their water bill. Please bring a vehicle that can accommodate a 55-gallon barrel. All sales final. Call (352) 540-6230 for more information.
