The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold the following public workshop on September 1, 2020 in the John Law Ayers room, located on the first floor of the Government Center at 20 North Main Street in Brooksville. A short description is below along with the time the workshop will begin.
In accordance with Fifth Judicial Circuit Administrative Order A-2020-12-F, all members of the public entering the Hernando County Courthouse, located at 20 N. Main Street in Brooksville, and wishing to provide public comment during these workshops will be required to answer a health screening questionnaire, wear a face covering throughout the public areas of the courthouse and practice social distancing by remaining 6 feet from others.
Weeki Wachee Carrying Capacity Study
The BOCC will hold a public workshop beginning at 1 p.m. to discuss the Weeki Wachee Carrying Capacity Study. The Carrying Capacity Study was performed by a hired vendor, Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc., from July 2018 through June 2019. The vendor will present their key findings to the Board and public comment will be taken on this topic.
