A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the Anderson Snow Park playground equipment installation located at 1360 Anderson Snow Road in Spring Hill. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Hernando County Government Facebook page.
A special timeframe will be set for media to conduct interviews, take photos, etc. from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Media are encouraged to RSVP ahead of this event to the Office of Public Information at either (352) 540-6426 or PublicInformation@HernandoCounty.us by Friday, November 27, 2020.
The new playground equipment includes the following highlights to create a universally inclusive playground specifically designed for kids of all abilities:
- ADA accessible volta
- ADA accessible kidforce spinner
- ADA accessible freedom seat
- ADA accessible artificial turf
- ADA certified mulch
After the conclusion of the ribbon cutting ceremony, the playground equipment will be open for the public to enjoy.
