Free Virtual Workshop: Rain Barrel and Compost Bin Workshop  

Residents are invited to virtually attend a Rain Barrel and Compost Bin Workshop on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 6 and 6:45 p.m. If you are interested in attending a Rain Barrel and/or a Compost Bin Workshop, please email LillyB@HernandoCounty.us to register by November 18, 2021 or before the class is full. 

Registration is required as class size is limited. Rain barrels are $50. A one-time water bill credit of $25 is available for customers of Hernando County Utilities for attending a workshop and taking a rain barrel home. To receive a free compost bin, you must be a resident of Hernando County. One bin per household. Rain barrel and compost bin pick up will be Friday, November 19, 2021 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Hernando County Extension Office located at 16110 Aviation Loop Drive in Brooksville.
