Hernando/Citrus MPO Board Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2024, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Brooksville City Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida.  Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and Approval of October 3, 2024, Meeting Minutes
  • Review and Approval of the Letter of Support for Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Grant Application by Hernando County, Pasco County, and the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative
  • Review and Approval of the Annual Bylaws Update of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC),
  • Review and Approval of the Annual Bylaws Update of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)
  • Review and Approval of the Annual Bylaws Update of the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)
  • Reappoint Members to the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)
  • Presentation by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) on the Hernando County FY 2025-FY 2034 Transit Development Plan (TDP)
  • Presentation by the Florida Department of Transportation on the Tentative Five-Year Work Program (FY 2026–FY 2030)
  • Presentation by the Florida Turnpike Enterprise on the Tentative Five-Year Work Program (FY 2026-FY 2030)

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
