Upcoming Hernando County Board of County Commissioners
Budget Workshop and Public Hearings
(Brooksville, FL) – The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold the following upcoming budget workshop and public hearings. The Office of Management and Budget will present the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 Budget for Hernando County to the BOCC on the following dates in the John Law Ayers room located on the first floor of the Government Center at 20 North Main Street in Brooksville:
- Budget Workshop
- Present FY 2024-2025 Recommended Budget
- Thursday, July 11, 2024, beginning at 9am
- Regularly Scheduled BOCC meeting
- Set Maximum Millage Rate
- Tuesday, July 30, 2024, beginning at 9am
- Public Hearings
- Present FY 2024-2025 Tentative Millage and Budget
- Thursday, September 12, 2024, beginning at 5:01pm
- Adopt FY 2024-2025 Final Millage and Budget
- Tuesday, September 24, 2024, beginning at 5:01pm
The FY 2024-2025 recommended budget may be viewed at
www.HernandoCounty.us after the July 11, 2024 workshop. The final approved budget for FY 2024-2025 may be viewed online once it has been approved by the Board of County Commissioners on September 24, 2024.
