May is Code Compliance Month in Hernando County!

Citizens who own property that has been liened by the County for a code enforcement violation
may submit an application until May 31, 2024 for reduction and satisfaction of
fifty percent of each qualifying lien.

Reduction of Liens During Code Compliance Month

Code Compliance Month offers a financial incentive to property owners who have outstanding Code Enforcement liens. On or before April 1 of each year, the board may adopt a resolution for the month of May of that fiscal year implementing the provisions of the Ordinance.

Original applications must be submitted to Code Enforcement during the month of May. Please mail to Hernando County Code Enforcement, 789 Providence Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601. Call Customer Service at (352) 754-4056 for any questions.
