Submit a Service Request

Requests for service may be placed through our Customer Service Division by calling our office at (352) 754-4060 during normal operating hours (Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and a Service Request will be entered, if applicable (we do not perform any work on private roads – this includes utilities patch requests).  It is important to note that in order to process requests for service in a timely manner; the caller must provide as much detail as possible such as the specific location and nature of the problem.

It should also be noted that the Division has the option for our citizens to place service requests via our website, by using the Service Request button located throughout our pages.  Citizens may also find this method of contact more useful and convenient for routine requests such as Right-Of-Way (ROW) mowing requests, sod replacement, etc., especially during times of high call volume (during or after heavy rainfall or storm event; on Mondays due to the weekend; or opening of office after a holiday).

We appreciate your assistance by being our eyes and ears in the field, observing and reporting damage or hazardous conditions.

Beginning July 1, 2021, Florida Statute was amended to prohibit code inspectors designated by boards of county commissioners from initiating investigations of potential violations of codes and ordinances through anonymous complaints.  Persons who report potential violations are required to provide his or her name and address to the respective local government before an investigation will occur. The Department of Public Works (DPW) does NOT accept anonymous complaints to avoid any violation of the statute in case the potential violation could eventually be sent to Code Enforcement for resolution.  For additional information regarding this amendment, citizens may track this amendment at the following link: https://flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2021/60
